Hi Kirk, A little confusion I think with my email, which I don't have a copy of, anyway saw your site while searching (again) and saw a slight hiccup, and which may or may not be my fault (I remember your last email!! next time you may come and find where I live!) the person who was my wife's grandfather was Thomas William, known as Willie (b 1895) son of Samuel (b 1870) so the grandson of William born Diseworth 1833. Anyway thanks for the credit. For the 1851 census look up William as Will Wheatley, living at Morfe Hall (Farm) Enville Staffordshire, a cow man age 17. There is also another Joh Wheatley there age 14, a relation? The farmer is a Thomas Carr who came from Castle Donnington Leicestershire to farm in Enville, which I should imagine is the reason William came there. Also, and I'll put my hand up as wrong, re Mary Haycox, on their marriage certificate her father was William Haycox a wheelright, not George. But you were quick off the mark there! I did take a photo of the microfiche entry for this marriage, but true to form I can't find, yet! I will send when I do. I've attached my notes re William. I'm still looking at the Wheatley's etc and if I find anything of interest I'll pass it on, I wouldn't bother to much about revising your notes on your web site I'm always having to update and correct all the time.
